Yester-night

Was probably the most bittersweet moments I've had so far.

My Mom needed to go to her "slimming-place" to get her body into a shape that'll fit in any small-sized shirt/dress. So, while she was busy with her own job, I helped her with the grocery. Since, buying stuff off lists aren't exactly her thing.

After I was finished with my grocery-shopping-spree, I went to fetch my Mom just in time and headed to the bus stand. But, as soon as I caught a glimpse of the gate, it was raining cats and dogs. Just like in those disaster blockbuster movies.

She looks pretty young to be my Mother, eh? Well, tell that to somebody who doesn't know that.

We had to switch routes and take the taxi instead. Waiting was one thing, many people also decided to take the taxi, too. Lightning flashed, the ground shook beneath my feet. And the wind splashed icy cold water on the left side of my body. I took my umbrella and shieled myself from the wind. Only my torso was safe. My legs were frozen like chicken drumsticks. My Mom's one lucky lady. She gets double coverage.

I had completely no idea what was in that driver's head because, the air-conditioner inside the vehicle is COLD. And it's COLD outside. He made it COLDER.

The only thing I could focus on was the rain outside, slapping the window of the car.

My luck with that taxi driver that night was just rotten. It rained so heavily near my condo that the roads were ankle-high flooded. The driver chuckled about the flood. I cursed him in my mind, sprinted out of the car with my umbrella up high and got my Mom. My sneakers were all wet. So, it felt like I was wearing wet socks. (By the way, I wasn't wearing any socks.)

I heard clanging, bashing drum music from my condo. I wondered if pirates took over the condo and the management. (My Mom always said that I had a weird sencse of humor.) And, I saw a huge crowd. And some guys with fancy pants.

And then, I remembered, it was the Chinese New Year celebration. There were lion dances! I swear, the traditional music was so loud, it could've bursed my eardrums if it went any louder.

I got home, and I was wet from head to toe. My Mom managed to get a warm shower before she took some pills. She went to bed earlier this time. The rain, the slimming process, all made her exhausted. For me, I had to finish up my homework even though the next day was a Saturday. I wouldn't take a shower. Because my Mom used up the warm water. So, I had some of my own ways to keep myself warm.

Steaming instant noodles.

And my dog slippers. Haha.

I joined my mother's slumber after some CSI: Miami.

Another Day, Another Blog

I'm sure everyone've noticed the new header, "The Quirky Artist". And some of you would probably be thinking, An artist? Her? But her blogs are endlessly talkative!

Haha. Not all artists are quiet, y'know. I read, I think, I talk. Which mainly leads to more talking and typing.

Sigh. The second day of blogging and still no followers. Maybe that's one reason why I kept making new blog accounts, blogging, realizing that no one cares and ignores Blogger completely. But not this time! I am confident that I will get someone to follow me. (Or at least. Get a friend to make a Blogger account and follow me. That'll help. XD)

Ignore this part if you wish.

The Alan Rickman art piece that I'm extremely fond of (for now).

I have some chores to finish, so, I'll be blogging some time tonight.

A Fresh Blog

I'm guessing that Blogger's just like Twitter, except, you can blab a whole lot more than 200 words. I have Twitter. And only use it because certain celebs do. Fangirl - yes, I am.

All thanks to certain friends who've introduced me to Blogger, this is the start of a really talkative tween who has some secrets that no one will believe. If you were thinking ridiculous things like I'm a superhero like Batman/Superman/Iron Man, you're wrong.

I've told three of my closest friends about this secret and they're cool about it. I only share my secret to people who I trust and know that they won't tell anyone else.

That was a third of a breif bio of myself. The rest is pretty simple.

I'm random, quirky and like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get. I'm turning 13 this year. Which is a really major event for me.

Wow. I'm such a blabbermouth.
